AEW is gearing up for another Grand Slam event in Arthur Ashe Stadium, but moving tickets for the show was harder this year than in previous versions of the event. The show is tonight, and they still have almost 2k tickets left, but that won’t cause them to lower prices.

Wrestle Tix reported in their latest update that AEW Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium has 1,833 tickets remaining. The event is set up for a capacity of 11,311m so they have over 10k sold so far. They have also seen over 700 tickets sold since the last update.

The outlet also noted that AEW is not lowering ticket prices, despite the fact that they still have tickets left. There were also some moves on the seating chart, but there was never a price adjustments.

They moved a lot of lower bowl tickets but I never saw a price adjustment so I’m not sure what happened to those. It would be very curious to not lower the prices first before upgrading (or comping) people but then again, it’s possible they don’t want to upset those who paid top dollar for similar seats nearby. The remaining floor seats and lower bowl stuff is still at the same price as yesterday. We’ll have to see how the pictures look tonight and how this map changes during the day.
