Randy Orton was spotted at the WWE Performance Center this week, and he’s training for his return to the ring. This moment is a long time coming for fans of The Viper, and he apparently changed up his look just a bit during his time away from the company.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Randy Orton got “huge” during his time away from the ring. It was also noted that this was a good thing.

Orton has been working out in the gym, and we’re told he got “huge” in a good way at one point, but as of early August he had not resumed in-ring training. Despite several incorrect rumors at the time that Orton was nearing a return, WWE sources and even an official capacity repeatedly reiterated that Orton was not cleared for a return at that point.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE has a plan in place for Randy Orton’s return. We were told that his comeback would happen this year, but it won’t be until after SummerSlam. We are in that timeframe now.
