MJF gave lot to become AEW World Champion, and he continues that hard work every time he steps in the ring. It appears that he is not 100% as he goes into Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Samoa Joe and MJF’s match is ready-made, because they have history. That famous NXT segment when MJF was just a security guard extra has been played on social media many times since then.

While taking to X, MJF addressed fans. He let everyone know what his situation is. At this point, he’s ready for war with Samoa Joe, but he is also going into that match injured. He did not disclose what kind of injury he is dealing with.

Tomorrow I go to war against a first ballot hall of famer.

One of the greatest big men in the history of our sport.

A man as intelligent as he is deadly.

Beating Samoa Joe at 100% is nearly impossible.

Tomorrow I’ll be wrestling injured.

But I won’t be in there alone.

I’ll be wrestling for The AEW fans.

I’ll be wrestling for my fellow New Yorkers.

I’ll be wrestling for my brother Adam.

I’ll be wrestling to defend the grandest prize of em all, The Triple B. most of all I’ll be wrestling for this kid with a dream who promised himself he was done being pushed around.

MJF also posted a video clip of himself from many years ago, when he was a security guard in NXT. Samoa Joe shoved him to the side. Little did Joe realize who he was shoving at the time, but it certainly came full circle at this point.

AEW has a big night ahead of them for fans in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Dynamite will be a two-hour show, followed by a two-hour Rampage. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
