Dominik Mysterio Says It Was ‘Surreal’ To Beat Up Rey Mysterio At WrestleMania 39

Dominik Mysterio wasn’t really liked when he was a plain babyface when he teamed up with his father Rey Mysterio. Things changed for Domink Mysterio after he turned heel last year and things have truly become better for him. Now it appears Dominik stated that it was surreal to beat up his father at WrestleMania 39.

The Master of the 619 has been engaged in a feud with his son Dominik Mysterio ever since Dominik Mysterio turned on him at WWE Clash At The Castle last year. Rey Mysterio would also defeat his son at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year.

While speaking to Metro, Dominik Mysterio was asked about squaring off against his father Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 39. The NXT North American Champion made it clear that it was simply surreal to beat up his father at the event.

“I was like, ‘Dude… I just wrestled my dad at Wrestlemania. This is pretty surreal!’ I was like, ‘Damn, and I beat his ass!'”

Rey Mysterio also spanked Dominik Mysterio during recent WWE live event. Dominik Mysterio is truly coming into his own as a WWE Superstar, but it is evident his feud with Rey Mysterio is far from over. We’ll have to wait and see when the two will square off against each other next.
