WWE is going through a lot of changes as they merged into TKO Holdings Group with the UFC. They are under Endeavor’s umbrella, and debt is already associated with the company, so cuts are being made.

It was expected that several cuts are coming to WWE today. Nick Khan, the company’s CEO sent out an email to employees yesterday letting everyone know to work from home today. Human resources needed the extra time to conduct firings in private.

PW Insider reports that WWE has made another big cut to their internal structure. Catherine Newman, who was their Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing, is no longer with WWE.

Catherine Newman, WWE’s Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing, has departed the company as a result of today’s post-Endeavor acquisition layoffs, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.

Newman oversaw Marketing, Brand, Community Relations, Entertainment Relations, Creative Services and Photography. She joined the company in June 2022 after working as Chief Marketing Officer of Manchester United Media.

Ringside News previously reported that Jamie Horowitz has been released from WWE. He previously held the role of Executive Vice President of Development and Digital.

WWE CEO Nick Khan sent an email out to staff yesterday informing them to work from home today. Firings are expected, and human resources needs to time to conduct those cuts in a private setting.

It was previously reported, that WWE’s main roster and NXT were expected to see cuts. Sadly, this is due to the recent TKO Holdings Group merger.
