Jey Uso was added to the RAW roster as a singles competitor, and that brought a lot of attention to the former WWE tag team champion. That doesn’t mean this was always the intention when The Bloodline started this journey.

The Bloodline saw Jey Uso quit the faction, SmackDown and WWE all at the same time. It appeared that he was off the roster, but then Cody Rhodes brought him back as a RAW Superstar at Payback.

Jey Uso opened up WWE RAW this week, and he cut quite promo. That wasn’t even the original plan, because Cody Rhodes was originally slotted in to open up the broadcast.

It was previously reported after Jey Uso’s appearance on WWE RAW this week that the WWE “Office is extremely happy with Jey’s fan reactions. They always believed in him. We reached out to clarify this report, and we received quite a reply.

It was indicated to Ringside News that this report about Jey Uso is exactly accurate. A tenured member of the WWE creative team told us that Jey Uso “has never been discussed as a singles until this summer.”

Jey Uso’s current trajectory in WWE might look very promising, and Uce certainly has an amazing opportunity ahead of him. That doesn’t mean this was always the plan from the get go for him to have his own run outside The Bloodline.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
