WWE hired Dana Warrior years ago, where she had a role in the WWE creative team. She left that role, and found a place elsewhere, where she worked until today when she was informed of her release.

Over 40 employees, maybe more than 50, lost their job with WWE today. This is sad day with the company, as many are still nervous that a call will come that they are no longer employed.

According to a report from PW Insider, Dana Warrior was laid off from her position in WWE today. This was noted as a bit of a surprise.

PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources that Dana Warrior departed World Wrestling Entertainment today as part of today’s layoffs after Endeavor’s acquisition of WWE.

Warrior, the wife of late WWE Hall of Famer The Ultimate Warrior, began her association with the company after her husband’s passing in 2014, taking part in the WWE Hall of Fame’s annual Warrior Award ceremony.

As previously mentioned, Dana Warrior had joined the WWE Creative Team but stepped down from that position in 2022 to focus on her role in WWE’s community outreach department, where she had been actively involved until now.

Considering the enduring legacy of The Ultimate Warrior character and Dana’s deep ties to the company since his passing, this development comes as quite a surprise.

Ringside News exclusively reported that the WWE Creative Team is not expected to see any cuts. That is not to say others didn’t receive terrible news today.

We will have to see what happens next, but this is quite an interesting turn of events. For more on this story, and many more, please stay tuned with us here at Ringside News. As always, leave your comments in the space below to let us know what you think!
