Randy Orton is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he has competed inside the squared circle for over twenty years now. He has done it all as far as being a pro wrestler is concerned and has earned the love and respect of his peers and fans alike. He also owns up to his mistakes and it appears Orton once paid $4K to a former WWE Superstar after destroying their rental car.

The Viper used to have quite a temperament back in the day, as his anger issues would land him in trouble many times in WWE. That said, he did make friends along the way and that includes former WWE Superstar Maven.

While speaking in a Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Maven recalled the time he and Randy Orton. They were leaving a show one night, and Orton wasn’t in a good mood.

They booked a rental car in Maven’s name, as Orton was still too young to book one. Orton wanted to blow off some steam and decided to drive the car. However, The Viper went through a construction zone and ended up hitting barricades and traffic cones with the car. Maven revealed that the rental car service threatened to sue him if he didn’t pay $4K in damages. He immediately called up Orton, who would pay him the necessary money in damages.

“I didn’t think anything of it until a few months later, when I get a very sternly worded letter from both American Express and from Hertz rental car, claiming that they were going to sue me through the roof if I didn’t pay. It was like $4000, $5000 in damages, and I called Randy immediately, and I was like, ‘Yo dude!’ I was like, ‘Man, you remember that rental car in South Dakota?’ and he stopped me, and he went, ‘How much?’ And I was like, ‘Man, it’s like four grand.’ He’s like, ‘I’ll have it for you when I see you on Friday.’ I got there, and he handed me a cashier’s check for it.”

Ringside News exclusively reported that Randy Orton’s return to the squared circle is planned, but it won’t happen just yet. It remains to be seen when fans will get to see The Apex Predator back on WWE television.
