Kevin Nash has a lot of passion for the world of professional wrestling and isn’t one to mince words regarding any topic. He was close friends with Scott Hall and by association, kept in touch with Hall’s son Cody. That said, it appears Nash blames The Young Bucks for ending Cody Hall’s pro wrestling career.

Scott Hall’s son Cody was an active in-ring competitor in Japan for a few years. However, Cody Hall has not stepped inside the squared circle for many years now, after suffering a neck injury in 2016.

While speaking on the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash talked about Cody Hall’s career coming to an abrupt end. The WWE Hall of Famer blamed The Young Bucks for ending Cody Hall’s career, noting that Hall could’ve been working in pro wrestling even now had it not been for the injury.

“He’s 6’10”. If he wouldn’t have caught one of those young bucks that broke his neck over in Japan, if he just ole’d and let the guy bounce off the concrete, he’d probably be in the business somewhere, working. Instead, he got his neck broke over in Japan, and along with that, a lot of dreams got shattered. It just … when you lose your dad, it’s just f*****. And I think he and I are kind of the same. I think that maybe, I’m like the only person that misses his dad as much as he does.”

For those who do not know, Cody Hall suffered the aforementioned neck injury in Japan back in 2016. He was involved in a high-flying spot that saw The Young Bucks diving on numerous wrestlers off a balcony.

Cody Hall was knocked out during the move and was put on the shelf after that. Cody had previously competed in Japan, featuring in NJPW, DDT Pro-Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Noah, and was also once a part of the Bullet Club faction. It is sad to see Hall’s career might have come to an end, but it just goes to show how unpredictable pro wrestling can be.
