Matt Riddle unloaded on Instagram about his experience at JFK airport. He wasn’t happy about it. He accused airport security of sexually assaulting him, and there is more to that story, because even more information is coming out about what really happened.
An officer on the scene informed us that Matt Riddle was allegedly “extremely intoxicated” at the scene. He also tried to use his status as WWE Superstar to get a bit of leniency.
Ringside News was told by an officer at the scene that they made “a few” attempts to de-escalate the situation with Matt Riddle before “it became physical.” It is also believed that Riddle “took exception” to the main officer who was in control of the situation.
“After a few attempts of de-escalating the situation and removing Matt from the area, it became physical.”
Matt Riddle actually deleted that original Instagram post, the one where he accused JFK officer of “sexually assaulting” him. We also received exclusive word that this officer had never had a complaint lodged against him. When Riddle was advised to lodge a formal complaint, he “brushed it off.”
This situation is a bit alarming, because Matt Riddle had to miss the last part of 2023 because he attended rehab. Things seemed to be going better for the King of Bros as well, as he released candid video message after he got out.
We will have more information about Matt Riddle’s situation as it is made known to us. Ringside News was also told that the official report on the incident is not released yet, but it might be expedited due to Riddle’s celebrity status.
