WWE’s Plans for the Main Event for NXT No Mercy

WWE NXT is set to determine the next challenger for the NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, with Ilja Dragunov and Wes Lee slated to face off on the upcoming episode of NXT.

The victor of this match will earn the right to challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship at NXT No Mercy. While there have been rumors of a possible Triple Threat match at the event, WWE has yet to confirm this.

Carmelo Hayes previously defended his title against both Ilja Dragunov and Wes Lee. He emerged victorious in his match against Dragunov at The Great American Bash and successfully retained the title against Lee at Heatwave.

The 2023 NXT No Mercy Premium Live Event is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, at the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California.
