EC3’s career in WWE has been largely criticized by fans as the company has underutilized him on the main roster. He eventually parted ways with WWE back in 2020 and has never looked back since. Now it appears that EC3 called out Goldberg and made it clear that he wants to defend his NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title against the WWE Hall Of Famer.

In case you forgot, WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg has done a lot for the business, but he remains a free agent after his WWE contract expired. Obviously, his retirement match is a major talking point even now.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Goldberg is not happy about the status of his retirement match. It was also reported that Goldberg’s retirement match is not concern for WWE.

In the headline bout of NWA 75: Night Two, EC3 squared off against Tyrus for the NWA Worlds Championship, where EC3 ended up winning and thus became the new champion.

While speaking on the UnSKripted podcast, EC3 made it clear he would love to defend his title against Goldberg and easily defeat the WWE Hall Of Famer.

“I would love to see Big Bill challenge me. I would love to see him come to the ring wearing the black and white gear he had with the WWF run. I love like to see him throw some air punches and one giant crescent kick… I would like to move out of the way of a Spear and then hit him with my finisher and defeat him.”

Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Goldberg will end up challenging EC3 for his title, as fans feel Goldberg is still determined to have a retirement match even now.
