Drew McIntyre is one of the most established WWE Superstars of the past decade, as he won the WWE Championship twice. He is back on WWE television as a regular and it appears McIntyre wrestled in a dark match after Smackdown went off the air.

This week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown featured the highly-anticipated return of John Cena, as he enthralled fans in a big way throughout the show. There was a lot more action apart from that as well.

After this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown went off the air, Drew McIntyre squared off against Karrion Kross in a singles bout. It included McIntyre getting Scarlett thrown out of the match, leading to McIntyre’s victory over the Harbinger of Doom.

Drew McIntyre also offered an apology to Xavier Woods after hurling chair at him on this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It remains to be seen what WWE has planned for McIntyre in the coming weeks.
