WWE Discussing John Cena Match With Top WWE RAW Superstar

John Cena is making his return to WWE tonight on SmackDown, and that will result in a full two-month schedule for the 16x World Champion. The company is also apparently discussing a big match for Cena for his return.

WWE SmackDown is set to be big show in store for fans this week on SmackDown. It appears that John Cena could jumpstart a new feud as well. There are also reported plans for Cena at Payback, and you can check those out here.

WRKD Wrestling reported on X that WWE is discussing a very interesting idea for John Cena. The idea would be to put Cody Rhodes up as his next opponent.

As we exclusively reported, Ringside News reached out to ask about John Cena’s WWE return, and how long this has been planned. We were told by a tenured member of the team that, “Cena has been discussing a return since the SAG strike.” It appears that Cena has found a way to stay busy during his downtime.
