Bray Wyatt passed away, and that is still a shock that some have not been able to properly cope with yet. Sadly, the incredibly creative talent also left behind a world of stories to tell, along with a loving family and fan base. His final WrestleMania booking was also almost much different.

WWE wanted to book Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39, but Lesnar rejected that idea. Then Wyatt was placed with Bobby Lashley. It was also previously reported that WWE had an idea at one point to book Bray Wyatt vs his own real-life brother at the showcase of the immortals.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Brock Lesnar did reject Bray Wyatt as a WrestleMania opponent. It was said that the decision wasn’t personal, but The Beast Incarnate simply didn’t think it was the right fit.

“Lesnar asked out of the match. It was nothing personal, just felt it was the wrong opponent for his character.”

Bray Wyatt was slotted against Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, but sadly, he never got to wrestle that match. Wyatt was taken off the road when he became ill, and nobody saw him in the ring again.

This is a very sad story, and our thoughts are still with JoJo Offerman, Bray’s kids, and his entire family at this time. RIP Bray Wyatt; you are gone, but you will never be forgotten.
