Brock Lesnar is one of the most fierce and dangerous Superstars in WWE history. The Beast Incarnate has gone through many top stars in the business and prevailed at various major stages in his career. WWE wanted Lesnar to duke it out with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39 this year, but Lesnar ended up rejecting the match. Now it seems Lesnar was defended for his decision.

After an absence of over a year, Bray Wyatt made comeback to the Stamford-based promotion in October. He has since been engaged in a feud with LA Knight. Recent reports suggest that WWE had plans for Wyatt to face off against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.

However, The Beast Incarnate was not in favor of this highly anticipated matchup against the former WWE Universal champion. As a result, Brock Lesnar is now squaring off against Omos at this year’s edition of the Show of Shows instead of clashing with Bray Wyatt.

While speaking on WrestleBinge, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long talked about Brock Lesnar refusing to face off against The Eater of Worlds. Long sympathized with Lesnar and could see where he was coming from and defended Lesnar’s decision.

“That’s not his niche, so I don’t blame him. You do what you’re told if they ask you, but ‘why should I?'”

While Brock Lesnar is already slated to battle the Nigerian Giant, Omos at WrestleMania 39, Bray Wyatt’s role in the Show of Shows is unclear at the moment. We will have to wait and see how Bray Wyatt figures into WWE’s plans for WrestleMania 39.
