Zoey Stark was one of the highlights of NXT television for a long time, largely due to her excellent in-ring skills every week. She was called up to the main roster earlier this year and has been a staple since. That said, she apologized to Becky Lynch for injuring her earlier this year.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’ rivalry grew more intense every week, as both women made it clear they have a lot of disdain for each other. They finally faced each other at the Night Of Champions Premium Live Event, which turned out to be much better than expected.

When it seemed that Becky Lynch had it in the bag, Zoey Stark came out from under the ring and attacked Becky Lynch, allowing Stratus to pick up the win. However, Stark hit her Z-360 finisher on Lynch and ended up botching the move – resulting in Becky Lynch getting a legitimate bloody nose.

While speaking to Haus of Wrestling, Zoey Stark talked about the incident that ended up injuring Becky Lynch. Stark revealed that she apologized to The Man after the unfortunate botch.

“Statement made (laughs). In all seriousness, we did talk, and she was fine. She’s good, like, her nose, you know, it happens.

We’re in a very physical sport. I don’t ever want to hurt anybody, but when it happens, it happens, and you go back and you apologize, and that’s exactly what I did. I went back, ‘I’m so sorry.’It sucks when it happens. It sucks. But it happens.”

Becky Lynch also defeated Zoey Stark in Falls Count Anywhere match on RAW this week. We will have to wait and see whether Zoey Stark will involve herself in Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch’s match at WWE Payback next week.

What do you think of what Zoey Stark said? Do you feel bad she accidentally injured Becky Lynch? Sound off in the comments!
