Update: The Second City Savior was informed of his suspension via his attorney.

Original: CM Punk and Jack Perry had confrontation backstage before All In’s main show started. Their fight stemmed from a situation where CM Punk didn’t want Perry to do an injury angle using real glass. They used real glass at All In during the FTW Title match, and Jack Perry made point to point that out during the match. After Perry got backstage, things popped off and we are seeing the aftermath play out.

News broke today that CM Punk and Jack Perry are suspended. That might be news to CM Punk. Then again, AEW doesn’t seem to be very good at communication. After all, AEW didn’t even send someone to the airport to pick up CM Punk. In fact, you can click here for photo of CM Punk lost in London before AEW All In.

Sean Sapp reports that, despite reports of their suspension, CM Punk has not been informed that he is suspended. At this time, Jack Perry’s knowledge of his AEW suspension is unknown.

We’re told that as of now, CM Punk has not been informed of a suspension by AEW. No word on Jack Perry.

CM Punk also reportedly threatened to quit AEW over this situation. Obviously, things between the two sides are not okay.

Naturally, there is a lot to unpack in this story. This is especially true since CM Punk is telling people that he “hates the place” now when speaking about AEW.

We will keep our eye on this still-developing story, right here at Ringside News. There could be a lot of updates, and it’s anyone’s guess how Tony Khan’s company handles CM Punk’s second suspension.
