Bianca Belair has ton of fans, and the former Women’s Champion still has a lot to accomplish in the ring. That being said, it seems that she will take some time off.

Sean Sapp reports behind Fightful’s paywall that Bianca Belair was written off WWE television for the time being. This should explain her hiatus from television.

During the August 18th edition of WWE Smackdown, Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair secured a win in their tag team matchup. Following their victory, however, Bianca Belair became the target of an assault backstage by Damage CTRL. They focused their attack on her knee, building on the storyline injury she had been portraying since WWE SummerSlam. It’s important to note that the knee injury is purely part of the storyline and not an actual injury.

The report went on to note that Bianca Belair has been written off WWE television for the time being. That being said, the plan was for her to take some time off.

“Belair was planned for some time off, and was factored in creatively. However, we’ve heard differing things on how long she could be out, ranging from a few weeks (under a month) to possibly three months. We’ll update you on the latest that we hear on her absence.”

It was also noted that Bianca Belair “got constant praise within WWE during her title reign for the insane media schedule and community events she would take part in.” We will have to see how long she is gone from WWE.

In the meantime, WWE will still air Bianca Belair’s commercials for Slim Jim and Snickers. So, she will still have her face on television, as fans wait patiently for the EST of WWE’s return.
