Ronda Rousey wrestled her last match in WWE at SummerSlam, and it appears that she has other options. As Ringside News exclusively reported, the WWE creative team was told to nix all plans for Ronda Rousey. Now, a new rumor from a UK publication has a lot of fans wondering what is next for the Baddest Woman on the Planet.

The Daily Mail claims that Ronda Rousey has her eye on a UFC return. This is after her WWE deal expired at SummerSlam, and she saw her way out of the company after a loss to Shayna Baszler.

The report claimed that Ronda Rousey’s “primary focus is now on potentially pursuing one last bout in the UFC, aiming to compete at UFC 300, which is expected to take place sometime next year.”

The source also mentioned that Ronda Rousey currently finds herself at a pivotal crossroads in her life and career. She’s contemplating her next steps, with a significant emphasis on television and film roles.

Throughout the years, Rousey has secured roles in several movies, including Charlie’s Angels and Furious 7, and more recently, she featured in the reality TV show Stars on Mars. We will have to see what she does next.

The report went on to claim that another thing that might keep Ronda Rousey from a UFC return is having another child. She and husband Travis Browne celebrated the birth of their daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō, in October 2021.

The source said that Rousey ‘enjoyed’ her time on the show and ‘with the likely influx of reality programming coming up in the next few months, she is looking into those opportunities.’

However, one thing that might put her UFC and screen dreams on hold is having another child.

She has a one-year-old daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne, with her retired fighter husband Travis Browne but another child could be in the pipeline ‘as she would love to try for one more,’ the source said.

They added: ‘She really wants to do it all [career-wise], but in the next few months don’t be caught off guard that she is having another kid because that is something she feels is one of the most important things to happen for her again.’

Ronda Rousey saw her way out of WWE the way she wanted to, as she lost to her good friend, Shayna Baszler, who was greatly responsible for Rousey’s love of pro wrestling to begin with. That was a great way to close up her WWE chapter, but it doesn’t mean she will jump over to the other company in the future TKO Holdings Group, UFC, to pick up her career there where she left it.

WWE could welcome Ronda Rousey back at some point, but a UFC return might be harder to pull off. This is especially true since Dana White said that there is “no shot” in Ronda Rousey making a UFC return. Also, UFC is a real sporting competition, and not pre-determined, so she would have incredible competition in the prime of their careers.
