Edge wrestled in Toronto during SmackDown last week, and a lot of people have wondered about his WWE contract status since then. There are a number of people who believe that he is on his way to AEW as well.

The Rated R Superstar had his own deal for WWE, and they couldn’t come to terms on things. As Ringside News exclusively reported, there are those in WWE who feel that the company made the right call not going through with that deal.

Edge dropped a video on Thursday morning to address what is going on. He wanted to clear the air, as he made it very clear that he loves WWE, and there’s nothing wrong between the two sides.

The WWE Hall of Famer made it clear that WWE is his “dream gig,” and he loved working for the company. He denied any issued between himself and WWE, and he called that match against Sheamus on SmackDown “the best night of his career.”

Edge said that he doesn’t know if SmackDown in Toronto can be topped. At this time, he’s going to sit back and see what he wants, and what will make him happy. In fact, Edge claims that he has a contract extension “sitting in my inbox, but I just don’t know what to do.”

The WWE Hall of Famer also made it clear that whatever he does next in his career, whether it be appearing in Percy Jackson, or elsewhere, he is doing it because he’s having fun. He also seemed to really enjoy his morning coffee during that video.

Ringside News exclusively reported that there is belief within WWE that Edge is on his way to AEW. It was later reported that the same thought of Edge coming to AEW is present within Tony Khan’s company as well.
