WWE Changed Plan For Dakota Kai To Keep Her On Television During Injury

IYO Sky won the WWE Women’s Title at SummerSlam after she cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Bianca Belair to ruin her big win. That was followed by Dakota Kai returning to help Sky celebrate. Now she’s back and it appears that WWE is going to keep her on television.

Dakota Kai, sadly, has history of injuries. She is out of action with another ACL injury, one that required surgery to repair.

PW Insider reports that WWE changed around their original plan for Dakota Kai to get her on the road before she was medically cleared. Now she is back with Damage CTRL on a weekly basis.

While this was not the original plan when she made her SummerSlam appearance, Dakota Kai is now back on the road for every Smackdown TV taping, PWInsiderElite.com is told. Kai is not yet cleared for physicality we are told, so don’t expect her back in the ring just yet.

We will have to see if Dakota Kai makes her return to the ring sooner than later. Hopefully, she can keep making dates on WWE television and keep her name value up until that day comes for her big comeback.

Dakota Kai was a big surprise after IYO Sky’s big SummerSlam win. Only time will tell how that angle ends, but it seems that WWE was able to switch around their plans to keep Dakota Kai back on the road.
