WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff is one of the most respected veterans in the pro wrestling business, as many believe his mind for the industry is invaluable. He has been a major critic of AEW for the past couple of years and now it appears he went after Tony Khan again.

Reports of Ryan Nemeth getting sent home as soon as he arrived last week broke out. Nemeth was not the only AEW talent who was sent home with believed connection with CM Punk. His dispute with Nemeth stemmed from very ordinary things as well. Even the likes of AEW Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels, and Matt Hardy were also not allowed to attend the tapings.

Clearly, there is a lot of backstage unrest in AEW once again. While speaking about this subject on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff mocked Tony Khan for making AEW a clown show.

It’s literally the inmates running the asylum at this point and the entire company looks like a giant clown car filled with juvenile unprofessional self-absorbed children,” said Bischoff. “Not all of them obviously, I don’t want to cast such a broad net, but I’ve never seen anything like this before. Could you imagine if Tony Khan would have been able to buy WWE? You can’t manage a clown car at this point.”

Eric Bischoff also believes NXT will surpass AEW Dynamite in ratings. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether AEW will be able to rectify their backstage problems as soon as possible.
