Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE pulled in an impressive number in Toronto this week for SmackDown. In fact, this week’s SmackDown broke the highest-grossing record for any RAW or SmackDown even in the Toronto market.

The Smackdown in Toronto was the highest grossing Smackdown or Raw in the history of the Toronto market, per internal WWE reports.

WWE also scored respectable viewership number with SmackDown this week. Needless to say, that bump of interest from Edge really paid off.

We will have to see what happens in the future. Edge’s last match on his contract was in Toronto, but his WWE contract isn’t up until September. Only time will tell what he plans on doing next.
