AEW has come far since its debut back in 2019, as the company has seen growth in quite a few avenues over the years. AEW President Tony Khan has been working hard to keep fans happy with his booking decisions, but not everything has been received positively by fans. Now it appears Konnan has no intention of working with Khan in AEW

Konnan is a pro wrestling veteran who knows a lot about the industry and fans feel his knowledge will prove to be a great asset to Tony Khan’s company. This is especially after he made a couple of appearances on AEW television.

While speaking on the latest episode of K100, Konnan talked about whether he would be interested in bringing LAX to AEW, since Santana, Ortiz and Eddie Kingston are part of AEW. Konnan expressed interest in bringing back LAX to AEW but made it clear he has no intention of working with Tony Khan in AEW.

“The only way would be if I had creative control and I could work with Sonjay (Dutt) because Sonjay and Jeremy Borash, I worked with very closely, and I had really good chemistry.

I wouldn’t want to be fighting with Tony (Khan) all the time about stuff, so I’d rather have Sonjay handle that.”

We will have to wait and see whether Santana & Ortiz will return to AEW television and Konnan will end up introducing LAX to the AEW audience. After all, LAX proved to be a highly successful faction in Impact Wrestling.
