Carmella has carved out a spot for herself in the WWE women’s division, despite not fitting the mould of a gifted in-ring performer. Mella overcame personal tragedy while back and was supported by friends, family and her fans throughout that entire ordeal. Now it appears she doesn’t rule out her unborn son becoming a pro wrestler.
The former SmackDown Women’s champion came out of a personal family tragedy. Carmella, alongside her husband Corey Graves, was expecting their first child. However, she announced that she suffered a miscarriage back in October.
Carmella stayed strong and then previously stated that she wanted to have baby this year. Thankfully, Carmella will finally get her wish as the WWE Superstar announced that she is pregnant.
While speaking to PEOPLE in a recent interview, Carmella made it clear that while she won’t force her unborn son to become a pro wrestler, she doesn’t rule it out.
“Maybe he’ll be a third generation, which would be so cool, but I would never push anything on him, whatever it is that he wants to do. But if he’s anything like what he’s like right now in the womb, I mean, he’s insane. He is a maniac. He does not stop moving. So, if that’s any indication of how rambunctious he’s going to be once he’s Earthside, then we’re in it, for sure.”
Carmella also confirmed she will make her return to the squared circle after her pregnancy. It remains to be seen when she will return to WWE television.
