WWE is presenting SummerSlam on August 5th in Detroit’s Ford Field. The biggest party of the summer begins at 8:00 PM EST, but a one-hour kickoff show will start the broadcast at 7:00 PM EST. That being said, WWE is trying their best to present a concise and packed show.

WWE does not have any matches booked for the SummerSlam kickoff show, but they have 8 contests planned or the main card at this time. The card saw a slight change this week when Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch’s match was moved to Winnipeg in two weeks for RAW when the Slim Jim Battle Royal was added to the show.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, WWE is making a ton of money off the Slim Jim Battle Royal match. That being said, LA Knight is a favorite to walk away with that SummerSlam win.

Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair will battle Asuka in a triple threat match with the WWE Women’s Championship on the line. Also, Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will have their epic rubber match.

Only time will tell how the biggest party of the summer turns out, but we will have complete coverage of the entire event here at Ringside News.
