Prior to NXT’s Great American Bash show, Cody Rhodes dropped the video package that will presumably air before tonight’s premium live event. This video package included highlights for each match on the show.

Cody Rhodes was featured in the video as a narrator, walking fans through the events that led Superstars to the big show. He said that careers will be defined as destiny is on the doorstep. Needless to say, this video received a full production treatment from WWE’s editing department.

Tonight’s NXT Great American Bash special should be a big night for the brand. Titles might change hands, and you never know if we cold see a debut as well. Gable Steveson will also have his first match in a WWE ring as he takes on Baron Corbin.

Cody Rhodes might not be in Texas for the show, but he provided a great narrator for the opening video package. He was also probably very proud to do this, as he set the stage for an event that his father, Dusty Rhodes, had a huge hand in inventing.
