Jim Ross is a WWE Hall of Famer and was the voice of several generations of fans, as he gave decades of his life to the business. Ross has been part of numerous iconic moments in the business, and he continues to be respected even now. He has been with AEW since day one, but it appears his AEW contract is running up.

Due to his veteran status, Jim Ross is well aware of how the pro wrestling world functions and how certain things in AEW can be perceived. Naturally, whatever Jim Ross says carries a lot of weight.

Jim Ross got hurt before the debut of AEW Collision last month but decided to work the show as it was his duty. Unfortunately, it ended up affecting his performance severely and he took time off to heal afterwards

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Jim Ross his AEW contract will be expiring in just two months.

“Jim Ross is hoping to be back for Wembley Stadium but that’s just a goal. He has a radiation burn that he has to make sure doesn’t get infected and has been dealing with crippling sciatica, that a few weeks ago left him bedridden. He’s doing better thanks to chiropractic treatments in Norman, OK, from Dr. Ron Tripp, who is a former Olympic judoka who is the only man ever to beat Rickson Gracie in a competition match, throwing him in 48 seconds in the U.S. sambo national championships in 1983.

Ross’ current AEW contract expires in two months. There is no date for his return but it would likely be on Collision.”

Jim Ross is also talking to Tony Khan about return to AEW Collision. We’re hoping that Jim Ross will be able to make it back to television every week as fans want to listen to the WWE Hall Of Famer share his views as part of the AEW commentary team.
