WWE has a loaded roster, and there isn’t time to feature everyone each week. Still the fact that someone’s name is being pitched in creative meetings is at least a sign that something could be in the works. That doesn’t seem to be the case for Lacey Evans.

Ringside News reached out to confirm Lacey Evans’ current status in WWE. She is not medically disqualified, but that doesn’t mean there are any ideas for her at this time.

A tenured member of the WWE creative team confirmed to us that there are currently no creative plans being discussed for Lacey Evans. At this time, there are a lot of names going around, but she is not one of them.

WWE has their share of controversies, but when Lacey Evans started using character that was similar to Sgt Slaughter, things really didn’t go well. He spoke out, and his daughter as well, as they dragged Lacey Evans, and the Lady of WWE fired back a few times. Now, Sgt is still speaking on the subject.

Sgt Slaughter later commented to say that WWE didn’t offer him enough money to work with Lacey Evans. Sgt. Slaughter has also expressed his belief that WWE should have sought his permission before allowing Lacey Evans to incorporate the Cobra Clutch into her move-set. This is a controversy that is ongoing with Evans.

Lacey Evans has been unapologetic, to put things mildly, since this whole controversy started. That might not have helped her case with fans, but it certainly didn’t get her any new angles with WWE.

We will keep our eyes on Lacey Evans, because she is always around social media. She also has other things going on outside pro wrestling, as she has a construction business with her husband. Hopefully, her fans in WWE will see her wrestle again, because the Lady of WWE hasn’t received much attention at all in recent memory.

What’s your take on Lacey Evans? Do you miss seeing her on WWE television? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
