Taya Valkyrie is finally performing on a big stage, after spending years in Impact Wrestling. Now, the former Knockouts Champion is vying for the top of the AEW women’s division, working her way through a wishlist of opponents. This week saw Taya take on Britt Baker, but fans might have been a bit ruthless after that.

Taya Valkyrie apparently found a ton of hate on social media when she logged onto her accounts today. She posted a comment about this on Twitter, as she explained how fans called her fat, disgusting, and an untalented loser via Elon Musk’s platform.
Waking up to comments such as, Taya is fat, disgusting, slow, untalented, loser, looks like a man, and so on and so forth. I’m just a human being trying my best. Remember that next time and hopefully you never have to hear that kind of stuff about yourself.
Pro wrestling fans can be quite brutal, as they bury talent for whatever reason they like. They have a sense of anonymity as well, which adds a new layer to how cringe and mean they can be.
Hopefully, Taya Valkyrie is able to keep her head down and stay on track with AEW. After all, there are a lot of possibilities for her at this point. Then again, AEW fans can be a very hard bunch to please.
