Dustin Rhodes was brought into AEW after his brother, Cody Rhodes, and his buddies started the company. Dustin’s WWE departure saw an end to the Goldust character, but it seems that he won’t be leaving AEW any time soon.

Although Dustin Rhodes hasn’t been featured as heavily on AEW television, he won’t be going anywhere any time soon. The Natural has a lot of time left on his contract as well.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Dustin Rhodes’ AEW contract is up in September 2024. At this time, it’s unclear if there is any contract extension in place, but he has well over a year left.

Fightful Select has learned Rhodes has plenty of time left on his contract. Sources confirmed to Fightful that Rhodes’ deal is up in September of 2024. We haven’t been told if there was any extension, or what led to the changing of dates, but that he has over a year remaining on his contract.

During a December 2022 interview with Busted Open Radio, Dustin Rhodes revealed that his AEW contract had only a few months remaining, with an expiration date at the end of July 2023. This led to speculation about his potential departure from AEW and involvement in his brother Cody’s angle with Brock Lesnar. However, it has now been confirmed that Dustin Rhodes won’t be partaking in that scenario.

We will have to see if Dustin Rhodes ends up leaving AEW eventually, to join his brother in WWE once again. He could always find another spot in the pro wrestling business, but it is clear that Dustin Rhodes will make the most of his time in AEW.
