WWE has their eye on a lot of people in the pro wrestling landscape, and some of them are in AEW. The company has had their eye on Rush for a while, but Tony Khan was able to lock Rush into a new deal in spite of that.

News broke that AEW has inked Rush to a new deal. This was a big development for fans who were wondering what his next move would be. After all, there were plenty of possibilities for him.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Rush inked a new deal, but it’s not clear how long the contract is for. The last deal Rush signed was only for a year, because he didn’t want to commit to anything longer than that.

AEW made the better offer, so he re-signed. I don’t know how long the terms are, but I know AEW is signing people to multi-years. He got a one-year the first time, because he wanted to prove himself.

Rush entered AEW with a ton of momentum and an established name. He also has a few close ties with AEW roster members, which likely helped his decision as well.

We will have to see how much longer AEW will have Rush around, and how they will use him. Obviously, Tony Khan is happy about inking this talented star to a new deal. He could also go on to be one of the biggest Latino stars in AEW at this rate.

WWE has been able to secure a lot of talented people to contracts, but Rush stayed away yet again. Do you think that WWE will ever ink him to a deal? Sound off in the comments below to let us know what you think!
