Gable Steveson has big choice to make next week on WWE NXT. The Olympics gold medalist has been around NXT for a few weeks now, and he is set to announce his intentions for the foreseeable future very soon. That being said, we might have a big of a spoiler for you.

Gable Steveson was supposed to join WWE a long time ago, but things got in the way. He had health issues, and then amateur wrestling called him back. He might have a chance very soon to show the WWE Universe what he can do once again.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that they have been told that Gable Steveson is committed to the National Championships once again. That being said, you never know what can happen in WWE.

They pushed on NXT that next week Gable Steveson will make an announcement about his future. He didn’t mention the world championships in September but I know that USA Wrestling officials would be furious that he beat everyone to make the team if he were to then pull out of the worlds.

We do know as of two weeks ago he was committed to doing the world championships. He brought up the choice of going back to college to win the NCAA title and then do the Olympics, or training with NXT. The way it was done and with the announcement next week on NXT, that normally would lead you to believe he was staying. He personally had elsewhere teased both returning to the University of Minnesota, or even transferring to Iowa for his last season of eligibility, but that was also clearly just trying to get people talking about him. His brother, even though he works for WWE, has publicly said that he should try and put his name in the record books as the greatest American heavyweight of all-time now, and then do pro wrestling after

WWE will keep going forward as they hope that Gable Steveson joins them eventually. It appears that he already has a lot of momentum as fans wait patiently for the next time they get to see him perform in the ring, in any capacity.

Gable Steveson hasn’t even had an official first match yet, but he’s made plenty of appearances. Only time will tell how long it will be until fans see him once again.
