Trinity faced off against Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Title at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event. This was a highly anticipated match, and Trinity pulled down the title in the end.

This was a big win for Trinity, as it solidified her decision to leave WWE. She was 1/2 of the Women’s Tag Team Champions when she left WWE, alongside Sasha Banks.

Interestingly enough Mercedes Mone was backstage at Slammiversary. The former Sasha Banks never gave up on her best friend, and they are still incredibly close.

At the same time, AEW presented Collision and Battle of the Belts, and the lively city of Calgary played a fantastic host for a series of thrilling matches. Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event was still able to capture a couple of headlines in the process, on a very busy night of pro wrestling.
