James Ellsworth Interested in Becoming Rhea Ripley’s New Love Interest in WWE

James Ellsworth enjoyed a run in WWE alongside Carmella. Although she did kiss him once, their relationship didn’t get really romantic. He would like to see a different chemistry with Rhea Ripley.

Since September 2022, Rhea Ripley has been involved in an on-screen partnership with Dominik Mysterio. Recently, in an interview, former WWE Superstar James Ellsworth expressed his interest in joining the storyline.

During an interview on The Hannibal TV, Ellsworth shared his desire to become Ripley’s new love interest if he were to make a return to WWE.

“In WWE, I would love to do something with Rhea and Dom just because I think the fans would be entertained by it, if the Ellsworth character came in, and he’s trying to get with Mami [Rhea Ripley] and Dominik’s getting pissed off. I think about the fans. I think fans would be entertained by that.”

Ellsworth had a stint in WWE from 2016 to 2018, where he notably served as Carmella’s sidekick during her Money in the Bank victory. He also participated in memorable matches against AJ Styles and Braun Strowman. That being said, his time with WWE came to an end, and he’s still doing his thing on the indies.

We’ll have to see what James Ellsworth does next. If Rhea Ripley needs a new boy-toy on WWE television, she knows who to call.
