WWE has put a lot of work into Roman Reigns’ build to this point, and there is no denying that. Now, it appears that he will face another high-drama match at SummerSlam.

WWE Money in the Bank ended with Jey Uso pinning Roman Reigns’ shoulders to the mat. That marked his only pinfall loss in years, and now Jey Uso will have another shot.

WWE SmackDown ended this week with Jey Uso challenging Roman Reigns for his Universal Championship in a one-on-one match. Main Event Jey Uso will get another chance to prove he deserves that nickname.

We were also able to confirm that SummerSlam will also include Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed Universal Championship against Jey Uso. Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar will go down once again. Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch will square off. Also, Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship will go down. GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship is also planned, as well as Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler. Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez is also planned for the biggest part of the summer. That match could be a banger for the Women’s World Championship.
