Threads is a thing now, and Twitter had some big competition from Meta. It didn’t take scammers long at all to enter the situation.

Zelina Vega has fans all over, and some of them jumped on Threads, an Instagram App, very soon. They were quickly met with a scammer trying to add them to a chat.

The WWE Superstar replied to a fan who alerted her of this scammer’s attempt to steal from her fans. This scammer didn’t even spell Zelina Vega’s name correctly, which is what she drew immediate attention to.

lmfao they spelled my name wrong. If anything falls for this [facepalm emoji]

Threads is a brand-new app, and some people are having fun with it already. Hopefully, fans will be safe on this new platform as well, because you never know what bad actors might still be around.
