Jon Moxley is booked for a promo next week on AEW Dynamite, but he won’t be in the building. Moxley is booked to wrestle in Japan on Monday and Tuesday, so he won’t make any kind of flight back in time for Dynamite.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Moxley’s situation and what is keeping him from attending AEW Dynamite live.

The show will be over at our time, it’s a 6:30 show in Japan, so he’s not gonna be able to get back. It’s a taped interview. I knew he was doing a taped interview.

We will have to see what Jon Moxley has to say on AEW Dynamite next week. Obviously, he could take the promo in any direction he likes, but the fact that it is a pre-taped segment means that AEW has plenty of time to make sure it fits with the current narrative.

Jon Moxley brought a lot of attention to AEW when he showed up at the first Double or Nothing event. He has gone on to make a big name for himself in Tony Khan’s company, and that also grants him the ability to perform in Japan from time to time as well.

Jon Moxley has a ton of fans from WWE who want to see him return, do you think it will ever happen? Sound off in the comments!
