AEW say a lot of drama after All Out last year. Brawl Out will be remembered by pro wrestling fans for a long time to come, but FTR did what they could to fix things.

AEW’s roster is seemingly split up now, with Collision and Dynamite advertising different talent. Now, it appears that FTR tried to mend fences on the eve of the Forbidden Door event.

Dave Meltzer noted on an update for F4WOnline that FTR went out of their way to try and squelch some of the drama. There is a lot going on with CM Punk’s return to the company, and it seems that they don’t want that static.

Just to clear something up regarding the situation in AEW and people kept apart, as tonight is the first time the Elite and C.M. Punk will be on the same show, is that FTR is not part of this equation. FTR actually went out of their way of late to clear the air and have no working issues with each other. Most involved have confirmed that all is good between them, and the hope was that other discussions would happen soon.

AEW would be better off if everyone let go of their beef and did what’s best for business. Only time will tell if FTR vs The Young Bucks will come down the line, but fans would also love to see CM Punk involved in the equation.
