WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Biscohf is one of the most respected veterans in the pro wrestling business, as many believe his mind for the industry is invaluable. He has been a major critic of AEW for the past couple of years, but it appears even he had a lot of great things to say about AEW Collision.

AEW Collision debuted last week and introduced a very different feel from Dynamite in a big way. This also included a fresh commentary team, with Nigel McGuiness and Kevin Kelly calling the action from start to finish.

AEW Collision was such a success that it made even Eric Bischoff erase the last year of AEW for him. While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff stated that Nigel McGuiness and Kevin Kelly as a commentary duo is the biggest improvement in pro wrestling in the last decade.

“I thought it was the freshest, most significant improvement, in any one element of an overall production that I’ve seen in probably 10 years.

It was that good. Look, this is their first time out. Respectfully, they’ve had plenty of experience doing this, but together, on this show, live, and under the pressure of a new show, I thought to myself, ‘I can’t wait to hear them a month from now!

Once they get their groove and rhythm together, point me to a better color and play-by-play team and I’ll tell you that you’re wrong.”

We will have to wait and see whether AEW Collision will end up becoming a successful show within the next few months. After all, the company certainly has a lot of momentum right now.
