WWE is all about bringing back previously popular stables and gimmicks as a way to move merchandise, among other things. Before WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio proposed to Legado Del Fantasma that they should together revive the Latino World Order. Now that they have been together for a while, it appears Konnan is willing to return to WWE to join the LWO.

WWE re-introduced the LWO stable right before WrestleMania 39 and they have been carrying on the legacy of Eddie Guerrero ever since. Fans were surprised to see Legado Del Fantasma turning babyface but they have now warned up to the stable.

The LWO topped the list for most merchandise sales three weeks in row already. This was no coincidence as fan reception to the faction has been nothing short of overwhelmingly positive.

Latino World Order originally appeared in WCW in 1998 and 1999, with Eddie Guerrero as their leader. While speaking with Nick Hausman for Inside The Ropes, Konnan revealed that he is open to returning to WWE in order to join the LWO.

“Oh, well, definitely. I think right now, the storyline would be you know — I have many ideas for this, just join the LWO because a lot of people don’t know this, because a lot of people don’t follow Lucha. But Fantasma [Santos Escobar in WWE] was a guy that I’ve known him since he was a little kid.”

Triple H also initially rejected pitch to bring back the LWO in WWE. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether WWE will somehow bring back Konnona to join the Latino World Order.

What’s your take on what Konnan said? Do you want him to return to WWE and join the LWO? Let us know in the comments!
