WWE has a lot of moving pieces, and they are missing a key member of their roster in Drew McIntyre. It seems that fans’ wait for his return may be over very soon.

Drew McIntyre wrestled a triple threat match at WrestleMania 39. He was actually hurt on the road to the show of shows, but he carried on with the match, because he wanted to work on that big stage against GUNTHER and Sheamus.

Drew McIntyre hasn’t been around WWE since WrestleMania, but he is preparing for a return. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that McIntyre may very well be back shortly.

McIntyre may be back shortly. As noted, they were hopeful of getting him to return for the 7/1 PPV show. Nothing is official at press time, past they are discussing dates for a return, but creative was not finalized at press time. He represented WWE this past week at the Special Olympics in Berlin, Germany. He has been a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics since 2021.

Drew McIntyre could very well return at Money in the Bank, but that hasn’t been 100% locked down yet. That being said, he is still expected to make his return to WWE’s touring schedule for live events around that time for their UK tour.
