Chris Hemsworth Has No Idea What’s Happening With Hulk Hogan Biopic

Chris Hemsworth made a name for himself by portraying the role of Thor, the God of Thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. After Avengers: Endgame, half of the original Avengers have retired from active duty, with Hawkeye, Hulk and Thor being the only heroes left. He’s set to take on another kind of good guy role, in the pro wrestling ring this time. It turns out that the Hulk Hogan film isn’t coming along as fast as would like.

The actor is also set to star as Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic, based on the WWE Hall Of Famer’s career. He has been considerably bulking up for the role as well, but fans remain uncertain about the film’s future.

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff was named as a producer, while Todd Phillips, Scott Silver, and John Pollono are said to be working on the film as the co-writers.

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Chris Hemsworth talked about the future of the Hul Hogan Biopic when prompted by Van Vliet. Hemsworth admitted he has no idea what’s happening with the biopic.

“Let’s hope. I don’t know what’s happening with it at the moment, but there’s a good story there. I’d love to tell it. I know Todd Phillips has been deep in the world of The Joker, but we’ve had conversations, and yeah, fingers crossed.”

Todd Phillips, who is slated to direct the project, is also directing the sequel to 2019’s ‘Joker,’ titled ‘Joker: Folie à Deux.’ Regardless, it remains to be seen what will become of the biopic in the end.
