Goldberg is a WWE Hall of Famer and respected throughout the pro wrestling world. He wants one final match, and it appears that event is coming together.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Paul Heyman once pitched a retirement angle for Goldberg in WWE. Vince McMahon wasn’t interested in making it happen, but that won’t stop Goldberg from doing it on his own.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that the event which might house Goldberg’s last match will have even more star power. It appears that Sting, RVD, Chris Masters, and John Morrison are all attached to the event now.

In an update on the company from Israel that is hoping to land Goldberg for a match, we’ve learned some more. The company running the show is also hoping to land Sting, Rob Van Dam, Chris Masters, John Morrison and more.

Goldberg’s last match could be a big event, if they promote it properly. We have heard nothing about a venue in Israel for Goldberg’s final match, nor have we heard anything about how fans might be able to watch the event on pay-per-view.

Pro wrestling fans love seeing legends do their thing, but even a legend like Goldberg must hang up his boots sooner or later. At least it seems that they are planning a big event to go with Goldberg’s last stand.
