WWE has their eye on the entire pro wrestling world, and that includes AEW. It seems that they might want a current AEW star or four if their contracts come up.

Rush has been absent from AEW television due to visa issues, and now more details have emerged regarding the Mexican star’s contract situation. It seems that his contract might be of great interest to WWE as well.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rush initially signed a one-year deal with AEW, and that deal is believed to be coming to an end in the near future. WWE also has their eye on him, but that isn’t their only interest.

AEW is currently in negotiations to re-sign top talents such as Kenny Omega, Adam Page, and The Young Bucks to new contracts. WWE sources reportedly expressed interest in all four members of The Elite if they were to become available.

AEW is said to be confident in their ability to secure new contracts with all four individuals. It has been noted that AEW has taken a more proactive approach in retaining their top stars.

Rush encountered a difficult situation with AAA, which resulted in his departure from the Mexican promotion. It seems that he certainly has other options, and so does The Elite.
