Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that, “AEW might be getting some more help on the creative end.” Former WWE creative team member, and current Impact Wrestling writer, Jimmy Jacobs is backstage at AEW Dynamite this week.

The report said that Jimmy Jacobs being at the show was a bit of a surprise. That being said, there were still a lot of hugs between Jacobs and a lot of people at the show.

It was hinted to Fightful, but not outright confirmed that Jacobs would be helping out with creative as All Elite Wrestling has expanded with Collision debuting Saturday. Bryan Danielson has also been brought on to help, in addition to the hiring of Will Washington.

Jimmy Jacobs has been working for IMPACT Wrestling since November 2017, and he’s been an important part of the creative team ever since. It’s unclear what his position with IMPACT is at this point.

The outlet further noted that, “we haven’t learned how this would affect his duties there, or if he remains with the company, but he appeared on a video on their official Twitter as recently as today. Jacobs worked for WWE as a creative writer between March 2015 and October 2017. He was fired for taking a photo with members of the Bullet Club who did an “invasion” outside of Raw.”

We will have to see if Jimmy Jacobs ever jumps ship to AEW. For more updates, please keep checking back with Ringside News.
