WWE’s NXT brand introduced Women’s Tag Team Titles, but those belts won’t be around for much longer. After Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn were brought up to the main roster as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, things took a turn this week.

This week on SmackDown, it was revealed that the company is unifying their Women’s Tag Team Titles. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will face Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre in two weeks in a title unification match.

BWE was asked by a fan if they’re going to unify the titles. This was responded by a little peek into whose idea this really was.

We will have to see how WWE evolves from this point. WWE CEO Nick Khan has a lot of ideas, and it appears that will mean one less set of titles in WWE.
