It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.

SmackDown kicks off with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman in the ring. As Heyman is introducing himself he is cut off from The Usos’ music, and out comes Jey Uso down to the ring. The crowd loudly chants Uso as Jey begins to speak. Jey screams at Soo, saying he’s let a lot of things slide but betraying their older brother is something he won’t stand. Heyman tells Jey it’s nobody’s fault except for Jimmy. Heyman says Jimmy made up his own mind, not just for himself, but for Jey. Heyman steps closer to Jey and tells Jey that Jimmy has always resented Jey for the fact that Roman Reigns wants to groom Jey as the right hand man to be the next tribal chief, Heyman tells Jey that is his destiny, it was never going to be Jimmy and Jimmy always knew that and has resented Jey ever since.

Heyman says he will prove the truth to Jey tonight, Heyman says he has gotten a match scheduled for Jey, Heyman says Jey will bring championship gold back to the bloodline, but not as a tag team, because there is no longer a team named The Usos. Heyman says Jey will defeat Austin Theory to become the new United States Champion tonight and that Jey Uso’s path to becoming the next tribal chief starts tonight.

Heyman tells Jey that he needs Jey’s answer right now. Jey says he’ll take Heyman up on the challenge. Heyman extends his hand and after a long pause as the crowd chants no, Jey tells Heyman that he’ll get back to him on that. Jey leaves the ring as Heyman looks disgusted.

Michael Cole on commentary informs us that tonight, current Raw Women’s Champion Asuka will be presented with the new WWE Women’s Championship tonight.
