WWE SmackDown booked a big show for this week, but they also got two matches set up for two weeks from now that could be game changers for the women’s division.
Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler came out as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on SmackDown this week. Then they started things off with Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre in a big way. After a bit of a back-and-forth, the two teams agreed to compete in a title unification match.
Charlotte Flair also returned to SmackDown this week. She confronted Asuka right away, and re-sparked their feud. Now, the two will throw down again.
Before SmackDown went off the air, WWE booked two title matches for two weeks from now. The June 23rd episode of WWE SmackDown will see both of those big women’s title matches.
